Dr Themistoklis Bellos is an Urologist who holds a PhD in Urology, and is a Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).
He completed his specialty training in Urology at the Second Department of Urology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, based at Sismanogleio General Hospital of Athens, where he received training in contemporary transurethral procedures, advanced endourologic techniques, and the comprehensive management of urinary stone disease.
He subsequently served as a Consultant Urologist at Korgialenio-Benakio Hellenic Red Cross General Hospital of Athens, where he gained substantial experience in minimally invasive and laparoscopic urologic surgery.
He currently serves as a Consultant Urologist in the 7th Department of Urology at HYGEIA Hospital. He has also completed advanced fellowship training in Robotic Surgery at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, one of Europe’s leading centers for urology and robotic surgery.
He maintains an active scientific and research profile, with numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed, covering a broad spectrum of urology, including endourology, urologic oncology, andrology, robotic surgery, and applications of Artificial Intelligence in Urology. In parallel, he actively participates in Greek and international scientific congresses as a speaker and author of scientific presentations and research papers.
His primary objective is to provide individualized, contemporary, evidence-based urologic care, utilizing the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and improve each patient’s quality of life.
